
To achieve its objective, IBPC has developed an integrated network of specialized research centers located in university hospitals, public and beneficent hospitals of reference in the treatment of cancer in the whole of Brazil.
To ensure the quality of research and medical care, the institute supplies nurses, data managers and research assistants. It is also the function of IBPC to keep in the affiliated institutions internal procedures for quality auditing, reports, documentation and regulatory requirements in real time, via internet.
The integrated network further allows the possibility of admission of projects from any oncology center in the world, and the development of an infrastructure on international level.
IBPC is an organization with status OSCIP – Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (Organização da Sociedade Civil de Interesse Público) permitting IBPC to receive donations that can be deducted from the Operational Profit received by the Donator, until the limit of 2% from income tax.

Apart from the medical team, affiliated health institutions, research centers and high top infrastructure, IBPC has the support of sponsoring laboratories, associations with international research institutions and contributions of individuals and companies. These associations and donations are the resources used by IBPC to cover its fixed costs.
